An essential aspect of storage is security.  We take several measures to ensure the security of your documents in the facility and within our systems against outside threats.  Listed below are some of security features we offer.

 

Outside Doors - The outside doors are secured using either Simplex or Key Combination Locks.  The Key Combination Locks are only used by a restricted number of employees, so primary access is gained by use of Simplex badges.  The Simplex system in conjunction with the badge permits entry through specified doors.

 

Fire Alarm - Each area has a fire alarm which is active at all times and provides protection in the event of a fire.

 

Sprinkler System - This system is heat sensitive and works independent of the fire alarm.  It is also active at all times and provides protection in the event of a fire. 

 

Employment Practices - Prior to an employee being hired, an extensive background check is conducted.  Upon being hired, each employee receives a Simplex Card to gain access to the building.  Upon termination, access is immediately removed.

 

Computer Systems - Our computer systems are accessible only to a select few employees.  That access is changed on a scheduled basis to prevent password theft.  If an employee is terminated, access to the system is immediately terminated.  Backup on our storage system is performed on a regular basis.
